Charles Russell Orcutt Resources: Books and Pamphlets |
||
Charles never wrote a book, although both his three-volume American Plants (1909-1912) at 538 pages (or 1,076 numbered columns) and Molluscan World Vol. 1 (1915; only one volume was printed) at 124 pages with a 62-page index, could be bound. Both works, however, were sold in a series of saddle-stitched issues. The latter title actually represented West American Scientist 21(165-177): 1-124 (Jan-Dec 1919) and its index West American Scientist 21(177-178): 109-124 (1919). Charles also published various one-page circulars, such as Mollusca and School of Science. Charles planned to publish a bibliographical index to North American Botany, but he never did. |
